Children’s Corner

I bought my first book when I was six years old. I purchased it from Scholastic’s mobile bookstore that visited my school campus in East Orange, NJ. I remember the awesome feeling of power as I handed over my money and got my book—Curious George.

That started my journey on the right track, and as a youth and into my teens I would spend my allowance every week on a book. Reading opened a world of possibilities for me, which allowed me to dream, conceive and achieve many of the things I am doing today.

This section of the site is the most special to me because I firmly believe that here we are planting the seeds to inspire the future of our world. I invite you to buy a book for a child and open their world to the possibilities. Thank you!
